About Us

Luckee Dog K9 Services was established in 2008 by Rhonda Benson. It was originally developed under the name of Luckee Dog Pet Sitting. Because we have expanded our services to include canine behavior analysis, we felt that a name change was in order.

In addition to offering canine behavior analysis, we also offer canine enrichment activities and professional pet sitting services. Any of our services can be tailored to suit your dog(s) individual needs.

We are here to help make your dog's life better and to enrich the bond you share with your canine companion. We welcome the opportunity to get to know and work with you and your canine family member(s).

  About the Founder

Rhonda worked as a professional hair designer on the north side of Indianapolis for more than 24 years. In 2009, she became involved with an animal rescue organization that was founded for the purpose of ending the inhumane killing of healthy, adoptable, and treatable animals at local animal shelters. The experience inspired Rhonda to attend the American College of Applied Science in order to learn more about canine behavior.

Rhonda is certified as a professional pet sitter with one of the largest and most reputable pet sitting organizations in the country, Pet Sitters International (PSI). She has been both a member as well as certified through PSI since establishing the business in 2008. In addition, she is currently working toward her degree in Canine Behavior Analysis, Care, and Counseling.

Besides working toward her degree, Rhonda also volunteers for Lucky Dog Retreat Rescue. She participates in adoption events in addition to fostering.

In September of 2014, Rhonda will be attending PSIs educational conference in order to participate in the Pet Tech First Aid and CPR course.

Rhonda and her husband currently have five rescued Pit Bull type dogs.
